Job Description

– Work closely with construction manager and finance team to plan different projects and create necessary costing and financing procedures
– Prepare and check subcontract packages, scopes, tender recommendation and comparison sheets, and then submit to Project Manager for approval
– Liaise, analyze and prepare contract variations, progress claims, delay claims etc. with the senior project manager/project director
– Produce procurement schedule in compliance with construction schedule and ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations
– Maintain strict financial and administrative control over project including establishing a work breakdown structure, budget setup and tracking, forecasting, change management, earned value analysis, monitoring of contractor claims, and cash flow analysis
– Issue and/or analyze requisitions for materials and/or services, review POs, analyze commitments, and allocate work to subcontractors
– Advise construction director, site manager of alternative construction method that may reduce construction cost
– Keep database of good subcontractors and vendors and actively reach out to more subcontractors and vendors and take lead in contract and price negotiations between the company that subcontractors and vendors
– Produce and supervise cost reporting, cost control and cost recording and supervise the payment process for subcontractors and venders Advise the design team on value engineering aspect of design particularly material specifications and construction material selection and preparing BOQ –material and labor
– Maintain staff performance results by counseling and disciplining via planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

Job Requirement

– BA in a related field
– Master’s Degree is preferred
– At least 5 years of experience’
– Deep knowledge of project development and planning, plus implementation
– Knowledge in project management cycles
– Deep understanding on cost-based risk analysis
– Strong competency on Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Microsoft Projects (2013 or later) and Adobe Acrobat
– Strong attention to details
– Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization and from different cultures
– Strong numeracy and financial management skills with the ability to learn sophisticated costing software
– Good negotiation skills
– High levels of professional ethic, integrity and confidentiality
– Strong organization, analytical, and planning skills
